Default Emanage From ap2 in ap1

Hey guys, I recently bought a used turbo kit with an emanage and the long harness from a guy who ran it on an ap2. From what ive been reading it seems like ill ahve to modify something for this to work on my 02?

What exactly do i have to do to get it to work correctly?

Also, I've heard that its possible to connect my aem wideband gauge to my emanage to help tune? I have the gauge wideband (not the one with the controller) will this work?

Thanks in advance

If this is the Greddy harness you will need to modify the harness to be able to move vtec.

See diagrams below (these are originals created by me as I receive PM on wiring for the ULT all the time) show the standard wiring for a setup that does not need to modify the TPS voltage.
So you can change the harness to reflect what is shown below or you can just leave the TPS wired in the way it is. However you will need to set up the flash to correctly pass the TPS voltage through the ULT without modifying the voltage.
If you are using a FI option that can get into positive pressures below approx 80% throttle you may need to be able to modify the TPS voltage to get the stock ECU to transition into open loop as appropriate for the specific boot tip in spot.

DO NOT USE THE W/B TO GENERATE TUNE YOUR BASEMAP/INITIAL TUNE.
Take you car to a local tuner that knows the ULT.
W/B feedback is only a supplement to a dyno tuned fuel/ignition map do not just run off of W/B feedback. You must have you car setup and dyno tuned by one that knows the ULT.

TPS connection if you need to modify the voltage

You'll have to post it in the forsale section and look for a AEM EMS

But on a serious note, save yourself the trouble and get a standalone, much less headache in the long run...

you just got to know what you are doing with the ULT and do not try and use it past its limitations.

Wow fast response! Thanks

If i dont use the extended harness does that make a difference?

"If you are using a FI option that can get into positive pressures below approx 80% throttle"

My setup is a pte 6262 with 750cc injectors. looking to run 10~ psi. pfab log top mount.
Im not sure whether or not it will spool then???

"DO NOT USE THE W/B TO GENERATE TUNE YOUR BASEMAP/INITIAL TUNE."

I'm DEFINATELY getting it tuned first, I just wanted to be able to take advantage of the capability given that i already own an emanage and the wideband. After the tune, will the wideband help correct my partial throttle open loop driveability? Car is my DD

"have you car setup and dyno tuned by one that knows the ULT"

Hardest thing to do so far is find a emanage tuner in ohio. please somebody help

Thanks a ton for the pics. Ill give it a shot when i get home.

Would have done that from the start. My ohio county is obd II though. Sux i know

"you just got to know what you are doing with the ULT biggrin.gif and do not try and use it past its limitations"

Which reminds me, I thought the emanage was really only good up to 650 cc injectors, but I've seen the dyno and runs with this guys car and this setup and it ran fine on his ap2 with 750s?

Thanks again guys
