Are you using exact cable that came with the emanage and plugging it into the serial port (NOT using a serial to usb converter cable)?

The emanages are designed in a way that you cannot convert the serial port to a more usable USB port. Who knows why...

I use a converter from serial to usb and it works fine. Its more likely either a conflict of software or your just not using the right com port selection. Make sure the version of software that your running now is the same as the one your trying to open it with.

Uninstall and reinstall the program again and update it. http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/

I had that problem using the laptop and the USB converter...I ended up taking the Desktop to the garage to use the serial :p , mine used to start updating and in the middle of the process it just failed... :banghead: this almost drove me crazy.... also make sure the Regional settings of your PC are set up for US of A....

I guess the software I purchase (from someone on here) was a rewrite and not the actual greddy disc. I payed for it like it was a greddy disk but it won't load on mainstreams computer. I now have to go to NOPI and buy a new cd 110$. !#%# $!$%! this turbo setup.
