Engine Cuts out
hey guys i just recently had my car tuned and the thing moves but there is one issue
with the s2000 you cant take the car to 9k if the car is cold and it has like a safety limiter at 6.5-7k. Before my tune i couldnt even take it past 4k now i can take it 2 6 but it feels like i got the rev limiter on there it just dont want it go past 6.5 and my engine light comes on the car can be driven and everything but it just done wanna go past 6k
we checked over all the wiring and all that and everything fine
Im using E-manage Ultimate
any ideas or things to look for would be much appreciated

WOAH!! your trying to get your car to rev high when its cold??? Thats Bad LOL!! Its a great way to wear down the life of the motor fast
i wait like 20 minutes for my car to warm up, yea mine takes awhile cuz of all the cooling modifications so my oil takes awhile to get to the temp it likes to run at.

the factory ECU won't let you go over 6000rpm or go into VTEC until the car gets to about 140 degrees, probably for a good reason
I personally don't rev past 4000 rpm for the first few miles or until the car is warmed up to normal around 180 degrees. If I just drive the car and it's still fairly warm then I don't worry about getting on it shortly after starting it. the car wants to be warm, everything seems happier when it's warm, especially the tranny.

nah i mean i dont try and smash it straight off the bad i never do but i mean i been driving for about 20 minutes and everything and then boost up and try n it jus hits its limit at 6k im too scared to even try and go past 6k at the moment cause of this reason like while we were getting the car tuned we couldnt take it past 6k cause it would lean out too much and it wasnt worth the risk im thinking just to take it 2 get dyno tuned instead of a road tune this time
