Default engine light keeps coming on

hey guys whats up? me again with another quick question. A while back I wa having a problem with my boost levels with my super charger and long story short got it fixed but now when I get up to 6500 once again the engine cuts out and the engine light comes on. any Ideas why this might be happening? muchly aprecieated if anybody has any input. Thanks

the best way is identify the fault is read the error code using a OBD scanner.

what exactly did they "fix"? just use a obd2 scanner to see what code it threw

it gave back a code of 2640 I think I will find out exactly for sure on monday but regardless it said that it was a unidentified code

P2640 isn't listed under the trouble codes that I have. It goes from P2631 to P2646.

Check your oil level. You may be getting a VTEC code due to lack of oil pressure at the VTEC pressure switch.

I forgot to mention that this applies to Codes P125x (p1253,P1257, etc.)

It comes back as a code 2642 does that sound familiar to anybody?

Maybe your scan tool is messed up? It should read Pxxxx. P2642 isn't listed either. What are you using to pull the code?
