Thanks. Is there anything in specific you'd like to know? It'd be a long spec list.

Have you always been running the same motor? How long have you been running it if you are still running the same motor?

We have 2 engines that we rotate and maintain.

Last year for example, we ran the whole season on 1 cylinder head, and put bearings/rings in the block mid season.

Keep it mind we are pushing 1300bhp with this engine as well.

i'm curious about the dry sump since i'm currently putting my setup together.

what pump and how many stages? (looks like 3)
what size line on the scavenge, pressure feed and return?
are you using an external oil pressure regulator? at what psi range?

thanks,
aaron

And I am guessing you just change parts out for maintenance rather than them actually breaking down? What is the longest you have run the race motor without changing anything?

We run an OEM oiling system. That is a belt driven fuel pump you see.

When we made around 1000-1100hp we could run all season without any maintenance.

We inspect parts during our maintenance, but usually just end up replacing bearings and rings only.

We've learned a ton about these engines throughout the years, it didn't start out this way.
