Default Engine Temp. On Road Course?

hey guys...i was looking into going FI (most probly turbo), but my main concern is the type of driving i do...the car is basically a toy and not a daily driver, but it sees alot of time on the road course...my main worry is about the heat of the turbo and engine over a longer period of time than a drag race or just street use...does anybody take their turbo Sk2 out on the road course for 20min sessions or longer? anything simular to having the turbo and motor that high in the RPM range that long? im just still debating on if i should stay NA or not...any advice is welcome, im just mostly worried about the way the f20 is gonna hold up again the extra heat of the turbo for long periods of time...thx

If you are worried about heat there are ways to fix it. Larger radiator, better coling fans, vented hood...ect ect. I have driven my car hard, but never tracked it. The hottedt I've seen the engine is 205 on a 90 degree day. But I know Cody (lovefab) had some cooling problems with his monster set-up

Get a nice beeeeeefy radiator and youll be fine. The combination of the turbo being cooled by the engines coolant, AND the extra power creates a lot more heat than the stock radiator is capable of cooling. Oh yes, the FMIC in front of the radiator doesnt help either.
Ive got two VERY tough track days on my car, its done great except getting a little toasty!

i talked to the cody from lovefab...he said you can probably still keep the ac there but just new ac lines...

the email from him...
"The Vmount was put on hold because of AC issues. We hadnt had enough
serious
interest into the Vmount to justify looking into custom bolt-on AC
lines and/or
AC condensors, so we scrapped the project. If we had the car, we can
definately
install the kit, build a Vmount system, AND keep AC too(youll have to
refill it
yourself)."

any questions?? i wish i had the money...darn it!!...im still like a lot down from buying the turbo kit...anyone wanna buy my nike dunk sb's, i have a lot of them <<sneakerhead? hehe...
