Well they spun a lot in first gear but still cut an impressive 1.51 sixty foot with just a set of springs for suspension, we were happy with this for the setup we were running. On the positive side this may have made it easier on the trans so it worked. The entire car was not a very good combination of parts for a drag setup, it was built before the 8.8 and v160 was available. Skinny tire, r200 rear end(not tall enough gearing), babied the stock transmission and had to shift into 5th, almost stock suspension, no line lock, and used a manual boost controller.
