FEELER: Twin Screw Supercharger Kit idea
Chi ACEKING66 (original test car for the Dual Pass Radiator I made) is sick of the issues and lack of track time he's had with his turbo. So we were chatting the other day and came to the conclusion that we'd like to make a Supercharger kit for his car that would be simple and use the TVS1320 blower on the cold side. Did some initial measurements and we can do it. Plan is a TVS1320 with a target of around 400hp but of course with tons of tq down low and great throttle response. Build a new intake manifold and incorporate an Air to water intercooler in the manifold.
Kinda wanted to get a feeler before we get started on it to see how many people would actually be interested in this and at what price point.

I want one, no question. I've been researching and cobbling together bits to do a TVS900 hotside kit myself for my OneLap car. I'd scrap that idea to do a coldside setup. I'm happy to be a guinea pig and help with development.

TVS 900 is to small. We used a 1L blower on the 1.7 mini and it just ran out of air before the 300hp mark and started creating heat like crazy. It really liked being in the 250-260whp range and that's hardly a bump on the S2k. Now granted the S2000 engine breaths a lot better then the Mini motor so the pressure ratio's are going to help it. The 900 is still to small. The mini's are now playing with the 900 and are barely touching the 300whp mark. Yet the Rotrex Mini's are making 470+ and the TVS1320 2.0L (storker motor) Mini made 384whp and 300wtq and the Tq was there off idle. It was insane in a FWD and utterly useless. The intake charge was well under control with an air to water in the intake and on track it had meth in the intake.

Would be interested I have the motor out and just waiting until I figure out what I want to do with the car but its ready for a buildPrice point around the sos kit or less I would say.

I've wondered if it would be realistic to mount a positive displacement supercharger in place of a centrifugal unit facing forward.

^These guys make a CCW MP90
Also there is the Procharger i-1 with a CVT that can make a flat boost curve, http://www.procharger.com/i-1supercharger.shtml
If you make an intercooled, TVS based, coldside supercharger kit that would be awesome...
