Are you running Titanium retainers by anychance? Can you provide kit# just to keep an eye out for other owners that might suffer same

I was just about to put the head on my f24 build and didnt think about checking the guides earlier..checked em right before install and realized the guides were worn more than twice the service limit..thank god i did. I checked all 3 heads I have and all of them are gone past the limit

you may want to consider checking them

Its getting the Carey bales 6.6 kit in it.

Soon as I get to Washington, and pull and send the head off.

Its the BC titanium option kit.

One should be prepared to check & replace & rebuild often using titanium componants.
any fracture will amplify,even a minute scratch ..

Ti intake valves? That would be dope asf. I wonder how high you could rev a F series valvetrain with Ti intake valves with ferrera billet rollers

Making me nervous, I have stock valves with titanium supertech springs/retainers...guess i should do a valve adjustment and check for failures soon!
