Default Full race Pro street heat shield specs!

Hello
I under estimated the heat issue with the full race pro street mani, its coated and heat wrapped. But that didn't stopped it from burning hoses and all! I've seen pictures of great heat shields on here with the pro street mani.

Let me know!

DEI makes a heat shield for wires/hoses that works very well.

I had issues with the hood, fender, and shock tower getting too hot. Im certain it would have baked the paint off if I hadn't done something about it. I got this generic heat barrier that I put on the bottom side of the hood and on the shock tower. Hands down the best thermal barrier I have ever used. It is extremely sticky, so no issues with it peeling off from too much heat.

Can confirm: thermo-tec is good stuff. It works. I had a dumptube withing two inches of my AC line on a DC2 and that stuff protected it for YEARS.

My problem was I used autozone he wrap which is not meant for it at all. I went with a similar product that full race sells. Lucky it was on sale lol but its metallic foil. I need to customize a heat shield how ever. I'm going to try to install my stock heat shield and bend it to fit lol.

I'm using an inconel heat sheild made by ATP (Advanced Thermal Products). Advanced Thermal Products

It's under their "alloy racing covers" section, and they have a template for the Full Race ramhorn manifold.

It was not cheap ($700 iirc), but beats melting everything around the manifold

Hope that helps
