Thanks for the pics. I see you have two gauges in the pod and then a seperate on the dash. Ireally wanted to stay with 2 gauges for the cosmetic factor but i am also concerned about knowing if there is an issue before major damage occurs......That being said, not from a tuning perspective but saftey(monitoring) perspective what two(if only two) should be at the top of my list.

Sorry to keep posing the same question, i was just under the initial impression that a wideband O2 is important for tuning, but monitoring oil pressure on a daily basis would be more beneficial.

Thanks
If you HAD to choose 2, I would say oil and boost pressure as they are more common issues. Its much more rare that a fuel pump fails then a slight boost leak to your wastegate that causes your engine to overboost.

Or if you have an AEM EMS you can go serial data stream gauge from AEM that can monitor up to 19 different systems.. I plan on going with one if I go AEM EMS. I am not one for a lof of clutter so one gauge sounds appealing. The only downfall is having to flip to different inputs constantly. I mainly only want AFR and Boost.

Auto Meter 52mm. It is VERY clean. I like it a LOT more than my old SOS.

sorry a little off topic, TheCarguy2021, I really like your setup with the dashboard bracket. How did you mount that? I just ordered a 4" bracket from Modifry for the same purpose-gaug(s)

For the OP, I ask a similar question before and some have told me that the boost and EGT is a good combo. Boost for already said reasons. I've also been told that the Wide band is mostly used when (fine) tuning also. So the Exhaust Gas Temperature was suggested because you can tell if you're lean or rich by temps too.

That being said, I ordered the boost and EGT Autometer NEXUS gauges. They have a black face similar to the Defi except you can choose between a rainbow of colors on the fly, kinda cool.

I have the Modifry's 4" bracket as well. Great piece, it should come with instructions. That is my old setup when I had the Vortech with a VAFCII. I used some double sided tape to mount them. I now have my AVC-R boost controller and turbo timer mounted on the bracket and my 3rd gauge mounted on the pillar seen here: (Don't mind all the wires, they are all hidden now)
