Hey guys, as I am wrapping up this build I am tieing up some loose ends and a few things came up with my previous water Meth kit

#1 It stopped working one day for an undetermined reason ( I sent it to AEM they said it operated normally), so maybe it was a bad ground, or perhaps maybe the controller itself.

#2 I broke one of the injector nozzles as well as the little filter that goes into it, so I would need to buy another one of those ($74.00).

#3 They come with a newer "recirculation" style pump that is supposed to be more reliable and provide smoother operation than the previous pumps.


So I can buy a brand new AEM Kit (without the tank, because I still have it) for $375.00 off of AEM's Website.

my thinking is all this work could be for nothing if my AEM kit fails while under Boost. The thing that worries me is when it started to act up before I took it off..........the Controller was showing it was spraying fine and all was well, when in fact the Methanol was not spraying for whatever reason

Any thoughts, am I wasting my money or should I just go and buy it rather then bandage up my old one?

get a new one, .... 375 bux is nothing compared to a whole new motor.


it doesn't hurt to be safe!! and when your making those big #'s... the methanol is gonna be a very VITAL instrument in your set-up
