edit* you could use the 255 with stock lines and it would work but the technology in that pump is a bit dated. Its loud and doesnt leave you with any room to grow.

Ap1 and ap2 have different part numbers. Make sure to get the right one for your MY.
Alright, I'll get a rewire kit as well to be safe. I didn't know how important this was until I made this thread so thanks to all who recommended it.

I'll check the part numbers to be sure which pump I need.

All pumps are in the $100-120 range.

Seems fair. Found a few AEM and Walbro under $100 new on some sites.

Another vote to skip 255 walbro simply for the whine, plenty of other higher flowing quieter similar priced fuel pump options as stated above. Its one of those things that will irritate you and make you lose interest in a forced induction s2k.

That sounds bad lol... I wonder what pump the V2 Vortech kit I have came with when it was new out of the box...

most likely a walbro 255

Back about 6 years ago there was no other options and the walbro 255 was the only in tank high flow after market pump on the market. Now there are much better similar priced options.
