Default Greddy Oil Drain

Has Anyone Had Any Good Or Bad Experiences With The Oil Drain That Greddy Provides With Their Kit?

Oil drain? Are you referring to the return line going into the oil pan?

I haven't had any issues yet but have heard of a few that have encountered problems. One member recently melted his. My mechanic suggested converting to a steel braided line and tapping the oil pan to avoid this potential problem.

I had a small drip with mine. I definitely recommend at least getting the proper threaded fitting with a braided line to screw into the pan. Tapping the pan is the best option but the ct/sos adapter is great as well. Maybe sos will even sell you their return line.

Never had a leak. Don't gorilla the clamps when you put them on. Just snug it until it will not pull off. It has very little if any pressure in it.

thanks, i am getting the greddy kit in a month or so, and i know that tapping the pan up above the oil line works better, just seeing if anyone had problems with the return entering the pan below the oil line!

thanks
