Default Help please! Kraftwerks SC s2000 ap1 lag at high rpm

Thanks in advance! appreciate any pointers

Had this s2000 for about a month now and Lately after the car warmed up and i get on it, it would lag for a split second at 7000 rpm and then around 8000! other than this problem the car runs smooth no CEL or overheating problems. it might need an oil change supposed to have about 2000 miles now on a rebuilt motor.
Mod list
Kraftwerks supercharger c38 kit
firerra flatface valves
firerra dual valve springs
firerra retainers
New oil pump
comp stage 4 clutch
Comp flywheel
arp head studs
new headgasket from Honda
front mount inter cooler
AEM v2 fuel management
J's Racing 2 1/2 inch exhaust
Skunk2 big tube header
bigger fuel pump id1000
speedfactory 4 bar map sensor

Maintenance required light on and leaks a lil near the oil pan but barely noticeable i check the oil level quite often.

If a stumble could be running lean if feels doughy could be running really rich in those two spots. Also could be pulling timing due to knock detection at those RPM points. If you hear slight popping and it feels like it's not pulling anymore that might be spark blowout (gap is wide.)

Use AEM V2 to log a few WOT runs and share on here. We can probably see what's happening on the EFI side.

Agree that spark blow out would be the first thing to rule out, done by closing the gap some on the plugs. First check your plugs and let us know what your current gap is set at and will guide you from there.

Still need to complete the first step. Changing the plugs isnt the same as checking and setting a proper gap.

Arent the ngk bkr8eix come pre gapped to .032? from what im reading on other threads regarding spark plugs for SC applications it should be good at that stock gap. but just to make sure i will check the gap!

Nope don't assume that, its all based on what boost/fuel amount your running. The stock gap on those plugs is fine for a low boost 7-8psi, but as you get into the 10+psi range you will get spark blow out. If your running a typical KW 10-12psi 400+whp kit, your likely going to have a problem. Gap the plugs down to 022-25 and report back. If your still getting your issue then you can rule common spark blow out as the issue and look at your tune or something else.

Highly advise you to have a tuner (like me) look at the data and go from there... i can get ALOT of info just from a simple WOT Pull

9/10 issues like this are common spark blow out, further solidified by hearing what gap your running with your st up. Perusing the forum here just within the past year you will find a handful of examples of people ive helped bring attention to this. But by all means absolutely take advantage of Ap1chiefs offer to take a look at your data log free of charge
