Default How did you run your -8 lines?

im about to do the fuel system on my buddys s2k. Motor is currently at inline pro getting built...so we want to get this done by the time it gets back. Anyways... i want to run dual bosch pumps intank. I have a couple questions.
Is it easiest to drop the gas tank?

What size is the stock feed line? Has anyone converted this to their fuel return when building their fuel system? Or is it easier to just run 2 new lines (-8feed -6 return)?

stock fuel line is around -4an. personally i think its easier to run all new lines. you can even tuck them right back under the plastic panel where the stock ones go.

did you have to drop your tank or is there a way to fish the lines up to the top of tank? Im trying to get a good understanding of what it will involve.

you can fish your lines up to the top of your gas tank, but working through the little hole in the rear of the car is a pain in the ass. if you dont mind dropping the whole rear subframe to get to the tank then go for it. that'll make it alot easier to modify everything you need to so that you can run the dual pumps.

We want to max the 35r out. so im thinking about 650 on e85. I think its possible it slip the lines to the top of the tank what are your recommendations on getting it to attach to intank dual pumps? What do you think about making a custom mount in which the fuel gauge can sit at the exact height a stock?
