I was pretty nice to mine and still did it in. Just eventually expect it to happen or limit boost in second. I didnt lol.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, collecting parts to get this dust bucket back on the road. Its been sitting in the garage and is covered with dust, started here and there throughout the last two years lol. just had to put a new battery and negative terminal and cable in. crap oxidized and battery died. looking at clutches and still not sure what to do. a close friend has act setup with stock disk and it drives nice. also read about the sos 400 and kind of liked that. any ideas?

i have an ap2 trans with 28k miles if your interested. The clutchmasters fx300 or fx350 is a solid choice. Read my thread on the heat treated gears. It may be a good option for the power your making.

SOS Sport 400 will have mild chatter, far less than a 6 puck and will hold 400 trq, do it

The SOS Sport hybrid 400 is pretty solid so far. I have about 3000 miles on my turbo setup with ~442 trq. I even have the CDV in-place.

With the CDV removed, I haven’t observed any slippage yet during hard upshifts. I do have an AP1 OEM flywheel and I broke in my clutch for 500 miles prior to re-boosting with my setup if that matters.
