Injector dynamics 2000 cc question
My new ID2000s for my 01 s2k just came in! Looks really good wrapped up in plastic and all but my question is:
It's blue.....is it suposed to be blue or gold??? I got the injectors to go e85 but is it ok if I get it tuned on 93 pump gass? I'm going to be running a mase kit with aem ems shooting for 450 on a precision 6262 turbo. Thanks in advance for any input guys thanks :hello: |

Hopefully someone else can chime in here. But my ID2000's are gold

That's what I thought = /

Mine are blue and don't look like that.

DFW, got pics?? How do yours look like?

The blue part on mine isn't so bulbous. I don't have any installed pictures on this phone...
Did you buy them new? What year is your car? |
It just depends on your fuel rail, as to what color the hats on the injectors should be. For example I have the Inline Pro fuel rail which requires the 12mm(Gold) hats. Stock fuel rail is 14mm (Grey from my experience). As far as running E85 and pump on these you can, but expect a rough idle on 93. Due to the larger injector the pulse length is also longer. Since E85 requires more fuel than 93 it is not as affected by the pulse difference. Hope this answers your question.

Oh 01, hmmm, they mayhave changed design a little bit or sent you a different application. As long as the fuel rail studs are the appropriate length, I wouldn't worry about color.

YEs bought them new and mines is a 2001
