Default injectors again

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sup people,

So i am runnin stock injectors which i think are like 350cc or something like that in my VTSC S2000. I am at 305rwhp and 192lbs tq. Tuned on AEM EMS. I am about to grab up some RC Saturated 750cc injectors from a friend. And i have three questions

1. What kind of gains will i be lookin at?

2. Can i shave my stock clips to accomidate these or should i just throw down on some new ones to fit it?

3. Will this be big enough for when i go to a 12lb pulley? Or are 1000cc needed?

TIA

Skate

750's should be enough for 450whp or so, which your setup won't make at 12psi so you'll be fine. I'd highly recommend the Injector Dynamics 725's over the RC's though. It really is a much better injector.

Make sure he has the proper SH4 RC 750s and not the SL4s. The SL4s in the 750 size were discontinued because they could only handle low flow up to 42psi. Otherwise they tend to run like crap and get "stuck" open.

So SH4 RC 750s or find a different injector.

Thanks, why will i not see gain Enthralled? I maxed out my stock injectors. I figured being able to supply more fuel would yield atleast another 10-15whp.

And Tony, i am just getting too good of a deal to no go with these injectors or else i would jump on the inj dyn ones.

and thanks for the info CKIT

Well just because you're maxing out your 360's doesnt mean that stepping up to 750's will yield more power, they will just have a lower duty cycle allowing more room to grow with more boost. Im about to put in 650's with a 10lb pulley and k-pro.

^^^ I agree, however it depends on what the OP's current afr is with the stock 360's.

To the op what is your afr right now? I will tell you if you will make any power. If your actually starving for fuel then you will make power somewhere in the power band, at 305whp your likely at that threshold but chances are you are running lean best and may even lose a little when you add some fuel if you do nothing else. You will be a little safer and run a little cooler with the bigger injectors. But its really a moog point becuase if you wanted to actually utilize your equipment you would up the boost when you get the 750cc, thats where you will be able to find your gains. You should be able to run 15psi no problem with 750cc

If you want to do nothing else but utilize what you have with the 750's, then run 10psi, stock motor, stock map, stock headgasket. Just give yourself some some marginal boost increase. Expect another 40-50whp over what you have now at this level.

you didn't mention this in your origianl post. If in fact you are maxed out, you may see some gains.
