Thumbs up Inline Pro vs Laskey Racing

I just wanted to know why there is a difference in price between the two. Also, if there is a structural difference between components one company uses over another. The other thing I wanted to know was I was looking for 400-500WHP and nothing really above that but a solid DD beast. I just wanted to know if a build bottom with a OEM head would be a good set-up or is building the head neccessary?

Sorry for all the quesitons but other motor is ready to be sent out and want to do it ASAP!

I believe when people build their heads its not really for added strength but for more power... I think if driven properly (no overrevs etc), a stock head on a built block like inlinepro is perfectly fine.

The bottom end builds from Inline Pro's website looks very nice, and they have alot of experience on s2k's.. I would probably go with them just on that alone.

Well if you contact mike at laskey racing he is a top guy, he built mine, but your comment about inline pro, mike laskey uses the f20c engine in his race car, so i think they all have just as much experience, just different horses for courses

Laskey Racing is where I sent my block based on feedback from the community. I decided to use a different powerplant altogether before my block was done, but I'd still choose them based on their race experience and the team there, assuming everything is still completely intact after Earl's passing. Those motors are good for an easy 600rwhp as a daily driver.

On a side note, good choice going with a build. I know those numbers can be achieved without it but with a daily driver, it's just a matter of time before the engine goes.

Mike Laskey puts together a phenomenal motor. I've had motors from all kinds of different builders and configurations (V8 NA, turbo 4, etc.). Laskey's engine burns no oil, makes no piston slap, has no bad habits at all. The work they do is gorgeous, and their reputation is well-earned.

Nothing against Inline, by the way. I've heard good things on them too re: motors / tuning / engineering. Very tempted to do their R200 diff swap if funds permit.

Happy boosting,
Stanford

One difference between the two is Laskey uses a open deck design sleeve, while Inlinepro mainly uses a closed deck design but can do open deck as well.

You can't go wrong with Laskey or InlinePro for motor builds.
I am partial to Inlinepro that's who's taking care of my build for me right now. There great people to work with.
