Default InlinePRO APR L19 Head Studs

Hi Guys! Just pulled the trigger on our ARP L19 F20/F22c head studs and we wanted to let everyone know that we are taking pre-orders now. Retail on these studs will be $595.00 but pre-order price will be $495.00. Please be aware that quantities are limited. Feel free to PM me or call the shop if you have any questions.

ARP's description of L19:
This is a premium steel that is processed to deliver superior strength
and fatigue properties. L19 is a very high strength material compared to
8740 and ARP2000 and is capable of delivering a clamp load at 260,000
psi.

Material Clamp Load:
8740(standard ARP stud material) - 190,000PSI Clamp Load
ARP2000 - 230,000PSI Clamp Load
L19 - 260,000PSI Clamp Load

Today with more S2000 owners leaning towards forced induction as a way of making high HP we noticed the growing demand for ways to keep cylinder pressure where it belongs. L19 studs have been used in other applications for years now, such as the diesel and Mitsubishi 4G63 to achieve high HP without head stud and cylinder head failure. Now it is available to us in the S2000 community as well

At what level are these needed over regular ARP studs?

There is no real line drawn in the sand for when it’s time to switch over to the L19 studs but we feel that 700-800HP would be a good mark to start considering them.
