Hey did you end up going with the stock SoS / Johnson water pump or the Bosch one? Your reason behind your choice? I remember us discussing this on another thread...

Ended up using the Johnson pump for now. I do plan on testing the Bosch piece but only after I see where the Johnson pump places me as far as IAT and overall temp then I will compare. This will be in a couple of months when I go for my e85 tune.
Only other benefit the Bosch has over the Johnson is it's quieter, more projected gpm and uses less amps to operate.

Hurry and get one before the baby!!!! Congratulations!

The PM stage II is a great piece. Other than the OEM hardtop, my favorite mods that I wish I would have done sooner would be the stage II diff and supercharger. Your whole perspective of the S will change.

Looks good man. Can't wait to see what kind of numbers you get with your combination of bolt ons (stock exhaust, alpha header, etc.).

I'm up in the air on going either SOS or KW.

How do you like the BOV? I have a Tial but its way too loud and I have a feeling ill have to go through a bunch of different springs to find a happy medium. Id almost rather just selling this one and getting a new one.

I will be sure to update this thread With this car, I wanted the stock powerband but with more power everywhere. I also wanted to stick as close as I could with using S2000 reinforced replacement parts. Either kit should have been stock for the S2000 when it came out IMO

I really like this BOV. I am venting it also. It isn't loud at all, and when I do hear it, my radio isn't on and I'm decelerating about to make a turn into my garage. I knew the TIAL would be too loud for me. The turbosmart kompact plumb back piece was about $130shipped from summitracing, the dual option is a little more.

What is the reason or theory behind upgrading the bov or venting it a certain way? Sorry for asking what is probably a dumb question.

And please do keep the thread updated...curious on how the water pump upgrade changes things. I'm running stock bov and water pump for 3 years now BTW...
