I am copying and pasting the post from my thread but wanted to ask here in the F.I sub-forum.

I ordered the AP1 Kit w/Tuning. I received the kit as below, with some boxes stating 04-05 model. Surely I couldn't have been sent the wrong items all the way here to England.

May I have some feedback from you KRAFTWERKS dudes?

Bit of an issue though, I ordered the AP1 kit with Tuning but a lot of the boxes state 04-05 model. Surely this KRAFTWERKS quality control issue isn't still ongoing...

Pretty sure that is an issue that has been going on for YEARS. My guess is their warehouse is full of potheads...

At great shipping expense to themselves, I'm sure they'll get you sorted. Most of the parts should be the same between the kits, but the number of teeth for the crank and/or charger pulleys will be a little different. Find those pulleys and let us know what's marked on them.

Also, double check the AEM that it's AP1 compatible. No idea if injectors are different or not

Not sure if the above helps but I have no idea to tell the difference between what they should have been and if they need to be different, but the AEM does state S2000 2000-2005MY

 

Injectors should be fine ap1 to ap2 unless its a 06 and up. Those injectors are different. Same with ems, will work from 00-05. Also, adding your build to the build thread index in the stickies. Looking forward to your progress and results

 

Cool so EMS should be fine. But you say my injectors are different, you mean they will not fit?

No he means 06+ injectors are different. I guess they're the same for 00-05. I wasn't certain on that but he confirmed it. So you're ok on injectors and EMS (and fuel pump).

You do need to pull out the two toothed pulleys that go on the crank and s/c to confirm if they are the correct tooth count. Hopefully I have a picture somewhere of mine so I can tell you what the AP2 pulleys are.

Do you have 4 idler pulleys?

 

this kit will work FINE! in your ap1 bro. the injectors are fine also! how many pulleys you have ??? because kraftwerks release new system pulley for this kit. i have one installed in my ap2 2007 DBW ! then... other parts seems fine!

Right guys, as far as I am aware - I only have one pulley in the kit which is the one in the photo.

And yes I do have 4 idler pulley in the box.

I have had correspondence from CJ and he has confirmed that the kit is apparently incorrect and will NOT fit my AP1.

Only time will tell and I am awaiting a response from CJ in regards to getting this sorted.

So they forgot a pulley as well? You should have 4 idlers, 1 small one for the blower, and one large one for the crank. I only see the idlers in your pics.

 

Right I have just opened all boxes and and gone through the contents. I have taken a photo of all boxes apart from the AEM EMS V2, Fuel pump and Injectors...
