Default Lean comptech?

Ok so I'll be picking up my S2k today. The supercharger is getting done.

Anyways, I hear that with my test pipe and exhaust I'll be rnning a bit lean. I have dyno time booked 4 days from now......

Should I crank teh FPR a bit just to keep it safe over the next couple days? I know that maybe I just shoudlnt' drive it.... but that won't be happening LOL

I wont' drive it hard till dynotime. but cranking the fpr shoudl be ok right? How much should I crank it?

It's not like you're going to wait an eternity to get your car tuned. 4 days isn't that long a wait to get a safe tune, but it's plenty enough time to burn your motor. There's no such thing as a generic scale on the comptech fpr, different people have got wildy differing results turning it the same amount. Just randomly turnng the knob on your fpr by 1 turn, half a turn or whatever isn't going to help unless you know what effect it's having on your afr. Just my 2c

Just leave it as is out of the box and stay out of boost until you check the A/F.

How do you know its going to run lean with the stock Comptech set up? I have done a couple of installs and Comptech designs these to run fine with the 5lb pulley, you shouldny worry about it unless your stepping down in pulley size. Unless of course you are getting dyno'd to see what your putting down
Just my .02 cents. Oh, congrats by the way.

yea I think I'll try to take it easy till the dyno.... it's tough though.

As it is rigth now, it doesnt' feel any faster than stock under 5000. And I haven't gone over that yet.....
