Default low idle oil pressure with greddy kit...

Hey guys I think I might have a problem

Greddy Kit with oil relocation and also using a greddy sandwich adapter (I know I'm stupid didn't see the extra oil temp until the adapter was on.

Cold oil temp (startup) is 85 PSI with a 75 degree ambient temp

the pressure seems fine on the highway everything normal except for my indle pressure

my idle is 900-1000 rpms and when the oil is 190 degrees my oil pressure at idle is 14-18 psi. This seems low. The oil is full etc. I need to talk to the shop that did the install and make sure they used 10w-30 and not 5w-30. Assuming they did what gives?

I'm using a SPA digital gauge with oil temp/pressure.

Any ideas?

10w-30 is what is recommended for this engine; I don't see the problem?

Mine idles around 20psi unless its the dead of summer where it can dip as low as 12psi for a second or two.

This is probably on a cold idle. 40psi on a warm idle is very high.

exactly when it's 70 outside it starts out at 35 ish then drops to 15-20 when warm....oil temps have not gotten over 190 F.

I also noticed a slight 2-3 psi drop after the sandwitch adapter was used. I think I will take it off and just use one of the tap points on the oil recirculation kit.

There is no harm in a few psi drop.

I am doing my own oil change tomorrow, I have the oil (6QTS or so of 10w30 Mobil 1 Synthetic), but I bought a NAPA Gold Oil Filter...........I got home and thought to myself, (hy would you buy a NAPA oil filter), should I return it for a Mobil 1 Oil Filter, or even just a Honda OEM Oil Filter?

Honda OEM filter. Everytime. I don't even like my Greddy filter right now.
