Default Max size -AN fittings on valve cover

About to order weld on AN fittings for my valve cover. I know most people run -10 but I want to use -12. I don’t have my cover off or the fittings on hand to check if they would fit in the original locations without interfering too much with the baffle, or just being physically too big. Looks tight on the front 1/2” port. On a AP2. I could always use the front of the cover, does anyone have any knowledge of using vents outside of the baffle?

I run -12, they fit if you do it right. a milled down -12 bulkhead fitting will reach inside the baffle area on the front port location
