I just installed my comptech sc and I noticed between 1500-2800ish there's this metallic sound...I think it's coming from the charger? Is this normal?

First make sure you didn't over tighten your belt...

Then you will get a certain amount of noise called "gear lash". I compare it to angry crickets, some compare it to a jet turbine sound like when your pulling up to a runway.

Mine got quieter the longer I had it... or I just got used to it.

I've heard a few Comptech cars. I compare it to a can of pebbles being turned. However, you should really listen to other cars with the same setup as you to be sure it's not something weird. A Vortech has a similar sound but not as loud.
