Modifry ECT Module ... HELP

I am not trying to bash Bob, but it had been the 4th emails to him and NONE was replied. The frustration arise because the unit did not work and no one from Modifry answered any of my questions or emails.

So, I like to try this forum for help..., please

It seemed everything was fine. The red LED blinked twice every 2-3 seconds when I turned to ON. The temp gauge showed 3 bars. However, after I press the START button, the bars went down to 2 and finally to 1 bar. It took approximately 10-15 seconds. Since then, it stayed at that level and never raised even I could feel the warm air from the ventilation.

The issue is I do not have laptop with serial ports to program the unit. The laptop only has USB, firewire 1394, RJ, Ethernet plug and wireless TCP/IP.

Any advice?

Just a thought, did you receive the right one, for stock ecu or aem ecu?

I think I received the wrong version (standard), even though I ordered for the AEM EMS AP2 version.

I tried to contact them, but no one replied...

Have you tried sending him a PM on here?

You sent e-mails over a span of how long? In fairness, this is the beginning of the holiday season. People also have emergencies arise.

I appreciate your replies to my concerns.
Bob finally replied to my email and blamed AEM EMS setting. According to him, the setting/ tuning of the unit may affect the functions of the module (referring to his installation page), which I had read it more than 5 times before started this post.

The module was why I purchased this unit from the beginning. If I used the stock ECU, the temp gauge would be working fine, and I would not need this module.

So, basically, there is still no solution yet, except now the pointing finger goes to different direction.

Sunhita...you have an 07? I wonder if Bob tested the ECT on an MY06+. Since they have a very different oem ECU and you have to make a harness for the EMS, there may be a compatibility issue. Did you tell Bob you have an 07?
