Default My FULL RACE Turbo Kit came in! *PICS*

Well its here, 2 months later and its going to be worth it. Everthing in the kit is top quality. Clean welds. HPC coated from turbine to downpipe, this thing will spool quick as hell which is what i was looking for. Not much time to work on it but we might get it all running by end of the year. Special thanks to Anthony & Todd @ Full Race, and Nippon Power.

Manifold, HPC coated

Extremely clean welds, all smooth inside

Downpipe section 1 - HPC Coated

Downpipe section 2 - HPC Coated

GT3037R .63

Turbine housing - HPC Coated

passmans2kny, I knew you'd like it If they arent sending it out for coating, you can do it yourself when it comes in. SHip the parts out to HPC and let them do it. I highly recommend spending extra to coat it. The finish will be consistent and heat will be reduced.

Black, Im planning to keep it stock block for now with following below:
ACT HDSS Clutch
AEM EMS w/ UEGO
ARP Head Studs
Cometic 2mm HG

My goal is extremely quick spool up with around 400whp. Guys next door just got a dyno. Ill be able to do a baseline run and compare.....muhahaha

I'm eager to see what kind of numbers you are able to make in the end!

Do you have a set target psi or are you just going to adjust the psi to meet your 400whp goal? Do you have a tuner in mind - in the Florida area I keep hearing a bit about a guy by the name of Mace in the Jacksonville area. From what I've read, he has some experience with stock S2000 motor pushing over 500whp, but then again reliability does have a huge factor in there.

Congrats on the kit. Are you installing it yourself? If so, good luck with it.

If you plan on going with a built motor, the gears might hurt you more then they will help depending upon how much power you put down.

A few local guys have had problems with getting the thicker cometic gasket to seal with the ARP headstuds, but had no problems with the stock head studs. Just something to think about.
