Damn man, what tires and size are you running?!

Keep the videos coming! I want to see you hook in 2nd gear with no tire spinning! Then I will not doubt this hardened gear thing!

We used to weld bracing in our automatics, might work in this case.

A note on stock vs straight cut gears. The forces are totally differant between the two. Stock will put pressure on the thrust surfaces, straight cut will tend to push away from each other.

im running 255 50 16 r888s. Im not gonna be hooking in second anytime soon the weather in shitcago sucks. Haha. That was on a 40 degree night.

Does the car grip in 2nd gear during summer? I am about to send out some wheels to be widened to 10 inch (16x10 +67 when done), then I plan to run the Toyo Proxes TQ with 275/45/16 :-) This will guarantee no traction issues.

I did not realize you were close to me. We just got 4 more inches of snow today here in the Milwaukee area...

yea it spins just a bit in second at 27psi which is fine with me. Yea you definitely will hook. Lol How much power are you making?

i worked in Milwaukee in the us bank tower up until 2 weeks ago. Seems like this will be the last of the bad weather. Lol

Peak power is 602 @ 22psi (Ptuning GTX3582 Gen 2).

We have had some nice weather lately and i have been driving the car on the weekends. Last weekend i did 3 to 4 pulls from 1st gear vs a 6466 335i. Trans is still holding up well. I am supposed to race a zx14 this weekend so ill be turning the boost up. not expecting to win. Lol
