Plenty of time to relocate the battery to the trunk and tuck the fuse box behind the fender

Well, the car sits sbout 80 miles away from where I live now. So it's just the weekends I have the chance to do something. And the next 5 saturdays I'm already busy... But at least I'll get to make a heat shield! I have an idea how to make it. hehe

@cmn: beautiful car, nice build, solid numbers at 13psi. That's a great setup.

@S2K-F8: do you have pics or a separate thread where you relocated the heater valve under the wiper cowl? I'd love to see how that was done.

Hmm. I would be interested in that too!
I sent an e-mail to ATP about the wrap for the manifold. But it looks like that's not going to happen... They said they first need a pic of the manifold (no problem of course), but they will also need the manifold itself in house to make the wrap! I have no chance what so ever to take the manifold off the car again (a lot of work, for one thing), and then be several weeks without it. So I guess I'll have to find some other solution then.
It will also cost a whole lot to send the manifold both over there from Norway and back...

forget that it would be hundreds in shipping, just heat shield things around it and you should fine, but i do recommend relocating the battery and fusebox

What about using heat wrap for the manifold and a turbo blanket for the hot side? I was thinking about doing the ATP but didn't know they are in Norway. Although I do have the manifold sitting in my room. Any idea what they charge to wrap it?

ATP is not in Norway, the OP is.

I forgot who I asked but I believe it was just about 400 ATP covering on their mani and around 300 for the turbo hotside.

Ah ok...fail on my part. Is it worth getting it done? I wonder if I send them my manifold if they can make the cover for it then just make you another so you can put it on yours.

Nice build man ! You definitely need to relocate your fusebox.
