Will deliver the head to the workshop tomorrow, to change the valve guides. Then I'll probably finish the head next weekend.
Also placed the order at InlinePro for built shortblock just before the weekend. Should take 3-4 weeks with the build, then a week or two with shipping. So hopefully it's here by the end of November. Hoping to get the whole package together before christmas, so I can put the engine in the car and get it running during christmas week.
Also ordered turbo blanket and a new throw out bearing from RealStreet.

All springs etc are installed now. Trying to find out if there is more work I can do while waiting for the shortblock. Some stuff I can think of:
- paint intercooler black
- weld AN-bungs on cylinder head cover, for catch can
- weld mounting tabs on oil cooler

Just an idea...since you do most of the welding yourself. Have you considered replacing hoses that will be dangerously close to the manifold with hardlines? I remember my wastegate hoses being VERY brittle when I replaced them. They became as hard as plastic and broke when I took them off.

Here's my setup for reference:

That's definately something to consider! Also looks awesome. Any more pics of the lines attached? I'm not the one doing the welding, but a friend of mine. He's doing a great job for me!

Thanks! I'll take a picture later today. But to be honest, now that I have the motor in the car I would have routed them slightly different. But I only had to do it once so far and its working great!

quick question, how much did the inlinepro short block run you and how much power is it rated for?

Great! Would be really nice if you bother to take a couple of seconds in paint or something just to show how you would recommend to run the lines differently!
