maybe you should go back and have them look it over again.

Do you have the afr/psi plot?

Thanks for your input I did ask about the VTEC point, but he said he had tried lowering it without noticeable difference in power. I'm sorry, but I don't have the afr/psi plot myself.. I could check if the tuner has it saved on his computer or something though.

looking at your torque and HP curves, there is an abrupt jump around 4500rpm. i assume this is where vtec is turned on? Typically something like 3800-4000rpm would eliminate that jump and make the powerband better

Yeah. I see what you mean. If the VTEC point was lowered to test, would the car need to be retuned between 4-5000rpm? Or could I just try to lower the VTEC engagement myself?

the answer to that question depends on your tuner's method. The best way to tune a VTEC engine in my expereince is to tune the low cam ONLY, then tune the high cam ONLY, then determine the crossover point. If he tuned it that way, its no problem for you to lower the VTEC engagement point. However i do not know if that was what he did, so you will need to speak with the tuner!

Talk to Mike if you call. Sheryl usually is the one that answers emails and the phone. She's very nice but doesn't know what a manifold is. They have my template.

Tell her you have the same manifold as Paul Boonyanetr and Mike should know how it looks like. He's made at least 3 FR ramhorn manifold covers that I know of.

Geoff!

This was how it looked like when I first put it back together with the wrap. Just changing a few details since (intake location per Geoff's suggestion, oil firewall port for sensors, etc)

Very nice I will do just that rather than sending in my manifold.

SO - BACK TO THE ORIGINAL THAT I STATED. WE NEED YOUR PARTS IN HOUSE TO MAKE YOUR SHIELDS.
