I think the 3.9 ratio will suit the car, so I'm really looking forward to trying it! How is the speedometer on your car now? Is it far off?
The axles are already upgraded. They are the DSS 500HP Level 2.9 V2, with the Porsche 930-style CV joint. I got them before I went turbo, but they have been working well, even though I'm right at the limit to what are built for. I might have to look into the level 5.9 axles later if these fail...

You will like the longer gears. I went for a 3.583 ratio in my r200 diff and it's amazing. Each gear seems so much more useful and you can put the power down easier.

I hear you, love my r200, have you ever had it redone or cleaned ?? I bought it used and just had the diff oil changed but never had it ripped open and redone

Nope. Same here. Got mine used, changed the diff oil before I installed it and been rocking it as-is ever since. Wouldn't be surprised if I never have an issue with it.
