I think the 3.9 ratio will suit the car, so I'm really looking forward to trying it! How is the speedometer on your car now? Is it far off?
The axles are already upgraded. They are the DSS 500HP Level 2.9 V2, with the Porsche 930-style CV joint. I got them before I went turbo, but they have been working well, even though I'm right at the limit to what are built for. I might have to look into the level 5.9 axles later if these fail...

You will like the longer gears. I went for a 3.583 ratio in my r200 diff and it's amazing. Each gear seems so much more useful and you can put the power down easier.

I think its like 4.09. Very close to the stock S2000 ratio actually. That is why it is so ideal. I love mine.

The speedo is not far off I think it's reads 5mph slower than the speed your going, not sure on that but that's what it seems to be with the speed laser signs that show your speed. Good to see the the 2.9 axles are working good for you, I'm planing to go with a 8.8 and t56 setup one day so I can really drive this thing.

Nope. Same here. Got mine used, changed the diff oil before I installed it and been rocking it as-is ever since. Wouldn't be surprised if I never have an issue with it.
