Well, I love the car with the turbo, but now it seems my ECU needs to be changed as well as it is probably the reason for my latest problems. It's not 100% confirmed yet, but the car is at my tuner right now, and that was what he believed from the fault searching/diagnosis so far.
I don't really know if I want to/can defend spending another 20 000 NOK/~$3000 for an ECU and a re-tune. Also, one of my biggest concerns is that I usually daily drive the S on the summer, and I now work around 150 meters from "Biltilsynet"/DMV..

sucks.
i'm guessing the current NOK exchange rate isn't helping either..
Are you going completely back to stock ?
Turboed S2000's are popping up here and there now, so I'm sure you will be able to sell your kit.
Probably not on the chn forum, that place is a graveyard but yeah..

Well, I haven't really decided. But if I get a decent price for the turbo kit I'm considering going back to street legal, at least (which means stock-ish engine wise)...

Absolutely not! I've had the car for 10 years now in March, and it has a special history and meaning for me. So the car will stay as long as I live.
As mentioned I haven't decided anything yet regarding the turbo though. But I must confess that the thought of using another $3000 (+?) and still not be sure the car runs great really bugs me.

Ok guys, after a year of misery and not beeing able to drive the car, I was finally lucky enough to borrow an ECU to test in my car, to check if that was the problem. And I finally got an answer: YES, IT'S THE ECU! So good to know!
So I know what I need now. An AEM v2 ECU.
Edit: Even when starting up with the installed map (for another turbo S2k with other turbo, injectors etc) it idled better than it has ever done with the AEM series 1 ECU..
