Glad you finally found the problem, why not get the new Aem while your at it? I'm thinking about upgrading from the v2 I hear it's much faster.

Haven't purchased anything yet, but it sucks that you have to use another $400 on different sensors to use the Hondata... What would be the benefit with Hondata vs AEM series 2?

Edit: I see the Hondata will be about double the price of the AEM, which doesn't fit my budget at the moment. So it seems I will go ahead with AEM.

Well if you are thinking of keeping it for awhile, AEM seems to crash over time.. Had mine for over 8 years with no issues even upgraded the motherboard

Well, you seem to be right about that. And I am for sure keeping the car for many years to come (had it for 10 years now). But unfortunately I simply can't afford the Hondata and the required modifications at this point, so I'll rather buy an AEM V2 an get it running like it should (hopefully for some more years).
Who knows, if/when the next ECU crashes, maybe I want to go back to stock. I have no idea. But for now, it seems I will go with AEM for financial reasons, and the simplicity. I have a motorcycle and to other cars, so they require some money and care as well..
I will however get it retuned during the winter though.

The only thing that bugs me now, is that there are no longer any gas stations selling E85 on their pumps now. So I won't be able to run "flex fuel" which would be awesome! Only option then would be to buy it by the barrels which really isn't too practical...

Glad the problem was located!

How are the prices on the series 2 vs the infinity now a day..?
And will you be getting the new ECU locally or from overseas?
