Default New to boost question?

Im almost done installing my supercharger kit, as well i have 1000cc injectors, and a walbro 255 pump. While im waiting for my base map from my tuner ( on aem ems), could i start the car with the stock ecu. I would like to check for leaks, belt tension, make sure everything works, etc...

With the 1000cc injectors installed, I wouldn't recommend it

The stock ecu wont be able to control how much fuel is coming out?

As a general rule, any modifications that alter the flow of fuel require a tune. The ECU does not recognise larger injectors and adjust accordingly.

No it won't. I don't believe the car will start, let alone run with those injectors installed on a stock ECU.

Probably easier to swap back in the stock injectors to check for leaks.

Car will start and run, but will be pig rich. Definitely swap in your OEM injectors and MAP sensor if you want to check for leaks.

Hell no the car is not going to start or run with the stock ecu and 1000cc injectors. For what your trying to do you need to make sure you install the stock injectors and make sure you have the stock map sensor in so you can start the car on the stock ecu to check for leaks.

Not trying to get into a pissing contest, but I've done it with an ap1, ID1000s and a 3 bar MAP sensor more than once. Like I said, it's not a good idea because it will run super rich, but it will idle...
