New Greddy Ultimate Emanage

http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/ultimate/...ures/index.html

For those of you who aren't willing to go the standalone route, this seems like an extremely good option. Quite a step up from the regular Emanage if I must say so...

stphotographer 06-30-2005 09:36 PM

dang it and I just bought the regular emanage! :(

lil_ant 06-30-2005 10:25 PM

how much is this going for

73Zero 06-30-2005 11:17 PM

For some reason it doesn't list our cars as one of its applications:
http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/ultimate/...ns/e-manage.htm
I don't see how this can be, since the original "blue" eManage is compatible...:thinker:

EDIT: Come to think of it, the applications sheet that came with the original eManage didn't list our cars either, yet folks were still able to figure out how to get it to work...hmmm...

On the site it says $535 for the main unit, and $89 for the harness kit...

ultimate lurker 07-01-2005 08:00 AM

Wow, huge step up. The change in how ignition timing and fuel is controlled is the biggest improvement. No more trying to compensate for fuel changes moving the load point on the timing maps. I look forward to tuning one of these to see if it'll do most of what an AEM EMS does for a lot less.

Wongawa 07-01-2005 10:28 AM

i think i will get one of these. UL, i sent you and email but this looks like somthing i want. would i have to wait for someone to come out with a harness? i will call for a tuning session with you. jack.

RZFD 07-01-2005 01:22 PM

This looks to be a more viable tuning option than previously avialable. Dare I say, that I would run it on my own car? I wouldn't want to be the first guy running it though. ;)

Thread to pay attention to...says he'll have one installed next week.

Chitah831 07-01-2005 05:48 PM

I think this is a worthy upgrade for those using VAFC and even the current Emanage.

Darryl at Ultimate Racing will keep me updated on their progress for the new unit with their turbo kit. So as soon as I hear how things go I will update here.

Chitah831 07-01-2005 05:50 PM

From my understanding you can use the same 2 harnesses from the old Emanage. The new Emanage has an additional harness though, and I think it is available for purchase.

revhi 07-01-2005 06:32 PM

Damn Im about to finally put my emanage in. :(

ideugene 07-03-2005 05:18 AM

damnn looks promising. although i think some of the screen shots show an all japanese version.

lil_ant 07-03-2005 11:06 PM

wow great price ...will someone get this and set it up and post how it go......

Just what I've been waiting for. Waiting to see how it works out first.

spoiled@21 08-20-2005 07:15 AM

Is this going to tune in the same manner as the Blue. I mean if you can tune you blue can you use this one without screwing something up?

spoiled@21 08-20-2005 10:43 AM

I also wonder if the support tools are compatible would maps from a blue work on the ultimate. Alot of money would be thrown away by people looking to upgrade who already spent a wad on the dyno

folex187 08-20-2005 01:57 PM

I'm wondering the same thing as spoiled@21. Just how much tuning is involved with all of these added features? I'm sure it's nowhere near the AEM but I'm wondering just how many hours of tuning and trips back to the tuner one would incur compared to the blue.

spoiled@21 08-21-2005 07:31 PM

I dont care about that much I just want to know if maps from the blue will work with the new one. but those are also good questions.

Slows2k 08-21-2005 09:12 PM

Someone will have to bite the bullet and get one, I haven't seen any specifics if it will work with the S2K. The original blue e-manage wasn't supposed to be compatible. It was only after a few guys bought them and figured out what needed to be done to use it, that the e-manage became a viable tuning option for basic FI applications.

folex187 08-21-2005 09:32 PM

This directly controls the timing correct?

spoiled@21 08-22-2005 07:59 AM

The website above has an updated list from greddy that includes all of honda F series motors including ours.

folex187 08-25-2005 06:36 PM

Anyone tried it yet?

Spoolin 08-26-2005 05:47 AM

I think Ultimate Racing has been working with it.

folex187 08-27-2005 10:24 PM

I think I'm going to order mine this week if my ebay sales go alright. Anyone know if there is a frog harness available for the ultimate yet? Also, does anyone make an extended harness so I can mount it behind my seat?

Stratocaster 08-28-2005 06:04 AM

The standard eManage harness from Vtec frog will work. But I am sure it will be some time before the thrid harness is offer. You could e-mial him and ask, I am sure he will add it.
