People have made well over 500 on 1000's alone with race gas. The bigger injectors are mainly needed for E85 or really big HP builds imo.

Why doesn't anyone run a twin injector set up and get around the compromises of a big single injector? Could just add a simple billet adapter/sandwich plate between the intake manifold and cylinder head, or even drill and add a bung in each runner. Set up the EMS to run a primary and secondary injector stage and run 8 ID1000

Because its not that easy and the engine management systems that can do it properly are expensive.

That's what we run.

When we were on gas we ran (2) ID1000's per cylinder. Now that we are on alcohol we run (2) ID2000's per cylinder.

8 2000cc injectors on alcohol. Damn, how does it feel to be part of the eye watering fumes club?

These are definitely not the same injectors. I know ID had issues with the Bosch 1650cc injectors at high temp so they don't sell them. These are completely new designed by ID and Bosch.
