Thumbs up New to S2000's but not 4cyl turbos

Hi all, I'm new to S2000's but not 4-cyl turbos and AEM EMS tuning.

Here are my newbie Q's, for an AP2 / 2.2L:

1) Is there a boost level that keeps the tranny, differential, and unopened motor reliable at the track/HPDE duty? 8 psi maybe? (This will be on CA 91 on the street, 100 octane at the track)

2) I'm thinking 320 whp will be plenty good enough for me.. it'll be faster than my 270 whp miata ... will this keep costs down? I'd rather have 320 and keep reliability up and costs down than have 400 whp in a garage queen.

3) Will stock brakes with track pads and/or ducting be good enough?

4) How much upgrading will the cooling system need?

5) Do HPDE organizers require an aftermarket rollbar?

Cheers and thanks.

I think 8psi would be good for a turbo Track S2000. But you will need an oil cooler, and even with that, i don't think your car would last the whole 30min on a big track.

320whp should work fine. Tranny, diff will be ok at that power level. I would upgrade the clutch though.

I've never tracked a turbo s2000 but have read a lot on this forum. I currently have a supercharged s2000 at 12psi making 355whp occasionally track it. AutoX and lapping days on a small track.

I don't have an oil cooler and i'm on a stock radiator, and i can't go the whole 15min that they allow us on the track per session without my oil getting to about 240* and water temp around 220-230*.
only upgrades to my stock parts are comptech reinforce diff, ACT pressure plate with Mugen full face disc. Stock un-open motor with catch can.
