The base kits run directly off the wastegate spring, which we spec at around .4 bar. With the GT1 kit, you should see between 6 and 8psi; itll vary, but average around 7psi. A boost controller(or GM boost selenoid) will enhance spool time by as much as 500rpm, so its very adviseable to go with some sort of controller.

No more emissions equipment (air pump, evap system, yada yada), no more water temp (though everything else works normally), no more specially encrypted key (there's a transmitter inside the factory key, keyless entry works normally.

hi kinda new to the S2K but i want to boost it. with running a turbo kit on a stock motor how safe and how many people do it? what all do i need to get if i bought a lovefab kit what else do i need. thanks guys

Also very new to the s2k, same question as lookatmy240, but want to use an inline pro kit. Even though the internals are forged, what is recomended boost under a good tune map?
