Default NITROUS and BOOST together...

this is sort of a broad question, but just a thought:
Is it possible to run nitrous and boost at the same time on the stock block of an S2k SAFELY?

If its even practical, has anyone on this site done it before?

Not true, a wet shot will help cool the intake charge and add fuel reducing the chance for detonation if done correctly.

A small 50 shot at 3500rpm's will also wake the turbo up much sooner.

So then why isn't it a popular thing to do?

More trouble than it is worth for most. A nitrous system is quite espensive if done correctly and takes a lot of work to get working proplerly. Not to mention it is requires that you fill the tank constantly.

This is what I'm doing for some of 1st gear pending a leakdown test. Although I'll launch at about 4k.

I ordered a P2R throttle body spacer with 1/8th NPT port to throw a dry nitrous nozzle in. I'll wire the relay for nitrous into the EMS and use the nitrous control. Launching with nitrous is easy. Launching with a big turbo is another thing.

Having been Juiced and boosted, i would have definitely just turned up the boost, unless you got extra money that you don't need to buy a nitrous kit.
