thanks amdaman,
What setup are you running belt size, crank pulley and supercharger pullley you have?

is this the right way to calculate belt size if I upgrade my crankpulley

Is this how you do the calculation on the belt size?

Hi,

Yes that's correct. I'm using a 7.5" crank pulley and a 4.3" blower pulley (8 rib). I'm also using a second idler pulley and a custom tensioning system so i get no belt slip.

I'm making 400hp at the wheels and about 410 with meth @ 16/17psi . The car was tuned in summer this time so it was reaching the limit of the fuel. Injector duty cycle = 70%

stock lower and 3.0 upper i was seeing 22ish at 9300...... But i have seen 27 There are ways on the 26/27psi run we saw well over 500. and the car moved out, but we realized our power goals where too high, and moved to the turbo world.

At that level of boost, I'd consider upgrading your valve springs. If you get any valve float, your dyno session will be wasted.

I see 19.5psi peak and don't get value float. It's only for a second before redline though, I would imagine a turbo'ed S would be different.

Not a bad thing to do though

So I figured an update was in order. Now that I have my air to air intercooler dialed in I see 16.5-19 psi with a 4" blower pulley and a 6.75 crank pulley with a 3.8 adjuster pulley and a3" idler pulley on the intake side to help with belt wrap I have 5k miles on the 1200 intercooled setup with dual tial Q50 mm bovs and it's working great.
