O2 sensor

Hi,

I have a turbo setup with the aem ems v2. The pins C15 & C16 are available for O2 sensors... the white wire from the stock O2 sensors connect to these pins. (right?)
I've been reading about what to do with the O2 sensor. Apparently the aem ems doesn't use the stock O2 sensor, but it is possible to connect an aftermarket O2 sensor into the ems.

Now, my question is: why does the aem ems work with the Bosch 4.2 or 4.9 LSU sensor (which is the O2 sensor used in the aem AFR kit), but doesn't work with the stock O2 sensor?
The primary O2 sensor is a wideband sensor too, right?

Hope someone can explain :)

Thank you!

Jasper

The stock o2 is not a wideband and cannot be used for what you're trying to do. AEM can use any aftermarket wideband as long as you input the correct data for it.
