just tried this bolt and it did not work, unless honda gave me the wrong bolt. it is too big for the s2000 coolant port. I'm going to try finding a rubber cap for the coolant bolt coming from the block. Also, the caps you use to cap the coolant lines to the TB and to the intake manifold make a tight fit inside the coolant bolt coming from block, passenger side. may just plug and cap that port.

Sorry for the thread necromancy but I'm doing a external oil cooler and the conventional "loop the lines" thing hasn't been sitting right with me. The oil cooler seems like it's just plumbed between the water pump and the block. The oil cooler is going to have a certain amount of restriction (a lot, really). If you just loop the lines, there's going to be a hell of a lot more water just dumping back into the block and bypassing the radiator. Is plugging it the "correct" way to do it then, or is the thing designed to pump water into the block for some reason?

if your a welder you can do what I did for a buddy I cut the hard pipe that runs in front of the motor 'was already blocked with a cap and mounts cracked off' I cut the pipe after the first mounting tab then tiged it up with a 316 stainless rod so we didn't have to pull the intake

Was looking for the plug to block the oil cooler line in the block, wanted to confirm that this is the correct part number above for anyone in need of it. Number 2 in the parts diagram.
