Default Oil Cooler Install on Turbo s2k

Hey guys, wanted to install a oil cooler on my car to prepare it for some road racing soon. I also purchased a j's hood with the two vents in the front. I was thinking about possible putting the oil cooler on the cross beam but I'm not sure if placing it behind the faux duct would be more ideal.

Also when installing the oil cooler, is it as easy as unscrewing one of the oil lines on the relocation kit by the oil filter and screwing that on to the oil cooler. Then use another line from the oil cooler to the line you disconnected? My setup is below.

you will also want a thermostat in the setup, you dont want to overcool the oil. do some google searches there are literally step by step walk troughs

First off our engine bays are strangely similar, i have the same setup from the stage 1 inlinepro kit to the mishimoto rad. I used a q
10 row mishimoto oil cooler no thermostat to be honest i wasnt worried about it because the turbo makes so much more heat in the engine bay and i have the gt35r water cooled so the oil running through there is super hot i can't imagine being to cold is an issue. Anyway back to location and install, first hondabond the fittings or they will leak and i put mine in front of the passenger side tire. If you remove the bumper there is what i though off as a perfect place to attach it there.

Great thanks for the details. So even with the inline pro intercooler piping in the way, you were able to get the oil cooler behind the bumper? These are the dimensions of the oil cooler I purchased:

Overall Size: 13x5.75x2 inch
Core Size: 11x5.75x2 inch
Inlet & Outlet: An 10
Inlet Outlet Center Distance: 10"
Rows: 19
Material: 100% Aluminum

Hey guys, so I installed the oil cooler in the car. I looked at multiple areas like behind the faux vent and in the middle cross beam but my space was limited due to its size, so I found a place which actually has perfect mounting points with L brackets. Its on the passanger side of the car infront of the radiator. It sits right ontop of the intercooler bolted on with mounting points on the car. I took some pictures incase others might be interested. This weekend I will run the lines to the oil cooler. Once finished, I will be able to install my radiator cooling plate to cover the oil cooler. Let me know what you think
