Oil Cooler mounting with SOS heat exchanger?
All,
I am running an 06 AP2 with SOS Stage 2 supercharger, racing heat exchanger in front, and I'm looking to mount an oil cooler. I ordered the cooler from Sakebomb garage, 19 row Setrab.
Since I am keeping the AC, my options are a bit limited.
Can I mount the oil cooler in front of/behind the heat exchanger without ill effects?
What about cutting out an AP2 front bumper duct and mounting it under the passenger headlight? Will that little duct provide enough airflow?
FWIW - I am going to track the car, so the setup must be efficient.
Thanks!

This is how I routed my Sake Bomb oil cooler, I did end up rerouting my lines to route underneath the front crossmember so there were less bending in the lines. Hope this helps!

Very cool... That bumper has a much larger air intake for the cooler compared to the OEM AP2 bumper though... Have you monitored temps on track since the install?
