Good luck, both locations are so close to each other I don't see why you wouldn't just use the lower one that's been tried and tested. Plus, once it's installed you will rarely ever have to access that T ever again. Regardless, make sure to wrap all your lines in that vicinity including the rubber hose just under your oil filter for protection. Wrap your an lines too. Also, if your turbo is bb make sure to use the correct restrictor at the feed port.

And doesn't CT and Vortech use oil feed from the vtec block?

Vortech uses a sender from the pressure sending unit near the oil filter.
