Default PFAB ELT Downpipe is touching car frame and RAttles

Hi Guys,

My name is Tony and I purchased a Pfab ELT gtx3076 kit from Pang Pfab and just as a review their shipping and customer service up to the delivery part is on point no complaints there. I did notice that they had left out a vband which they sent to me right away. They also forgot to send me one of the intercooler coupler ring but i had an aem lying around. Long story short, after the installation I noticed that there is a rattle when im at 67MPH on the freeway. After many weeks playing with the fusebox and I thought that it was rubbing against the waste gate but it wasn't the case. We had the car lifted and noticed that the downpipe was either rubbing against the manifold or will be rubbing against the car frame. I dont know what to do at this point. I've emailed Pang twice and havent received a reply. I've tried to Jerry rig and put 3 Stainless steel heavy weight metal mesh, the ones you use to wash dirty pots and pans with. It doesnt' rattle when im doing 20 to 40mph anymore but it still rattles at 67mpg... (((

I dont know what to you. What do you guys recommend?

Take the downpipe off and peen it down with a ball end hammer. If thats not enough, find a shop local to you to modify it. Unless you dont mind the wait time shipping it back and forth to pang.

Make sure the engine mounts are good, if that checks out have the down pipe modified.

+ 1 on engine mounts, my guess is passenger side is shot and causing the engine to sit lower than it should and leaning towards the frame rail

I wonder... but its rubbing against the top of the down pipe against the bottom of the frame. I'll probably try to shove some more steel mesh in there. If not i'll probably have the muffler shop re fab where my 3 inch down pipe merges to my 70mm berk hfc.

I would try to get that fixed as soon as possible before something cracks. Itll save the headache of repairing something down the road
