I am proposing this forum be moved from under the hood to it's own space in special interest. This is in keeping with the theme for Special Interest forums "Wheels and Tires", "Electronics". Since this is along the same lines I'd like to see it their instead of here.

If you have a problem with this, let me know otherwise I'll assume there is no compelling reason not to shuffle it. Please offer some rationale for your protect other than "I'm used to it being here" as that's not a good reason not to move it. I'll get used to it being wherever it is.

 

I'm OK with it wherever it ends up.

 

 

I think there is PLENTY of interest to justify FI as stout enough for its own forum

being under UTH kept this flooding with questions that were already answered. So far I like it in here to keep this forum technical.

 

When the original "poll" thread was done, there were many requests to make F.I. a separate forum apart from UTH. I believe that at the time, the success of such a forum and the extent of traffic it would get was somewhat in doubt and under-rated, so it was stuck as a sub-forum of UTH just to see what would happen. I guess its growth since then speaks for itself. Whether it be in "Special Interest" or kept where it is, I'm good with either. I suppose people notice it better if taken out of UTH and there will be fewer threads started on this topic in UTH that have to be moved.

 

I'm all for it being it's own forum. I feel that it is currently too many levels down and gets a bit lost. The traffic level has certainly been more than adequate.
